Warrenville, Ill. — National Express Corporation (NEC), the parent company of leading student transportation providers Durham School Services and Stock Transportation, is pleased to announce the appointment of Carey Paster as vice president, mergers and acquisitions. In this newly created role, Carey will be responsible for furthering National Express’ presence in the passenger transport market.
Carey joins NEC with a wealth of experience in the student transportation industry, most recently leading the commercial development efforts for First Group America, where he was responsible for growth strategy across North America. Prior to that role, he served as chief executive officer and president of First Student. Carey also served on the National School Transportation Association Board of Directors and holds an MBA from Northeastern University in Boston.
